About the Role

NES Fircroft is seeking a Finance Manager to take end-to-end ownership of the finance function across multiple Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). This full-time position is based in As Sufun, Ha'il, Saudi Arabia. The role is broad and strategic, encompassing project finance, treasury management, financial reporting, governance, business partnering, and operational finance leadership.

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will ensure financial integrity, liquidity management, regulatory compliance, and robust financial controls. This involves providing insightful analysis to support key commercial and business decisions within a growing renewables business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project finance facilities, including debt drawdowns and lender reporting; prepare utilization requests, verify conditions, and coordinate funding activities with agent banks.
  • Manage Debt Service Reserve Accounts (DSRA), monitor requirements, and optimize interest periods and hedging arrangements; monitor covenant compliance, including calculation and certification of key ratios such as DSCR and LLCR.
  • Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans; prepare sensitivity analyses, monitor financial performance, and identify emerging financial risks.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for all SPVs under IFRS; manage period-end close processes, review reconciliations, and lead external audit processes.
  • Prepare monthly financial and performance reports for management and shareholders; develop KPI dashboards and provide financial insights to support commercial and investment decisions.
  • Oversee VAT filings, reconciliations, refund claims, and compliance; manage relationships with tax authorities and coordinate insurance renewals and claims.
  • Oversee outsourced accounting providers; manage ERP workflows, access controls, and approval hierarchies; ensure robust payment controls and coordinate with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Significant experience in finance leadership roles, ideally within renewable energy, infrastructure, project finance, or asset-heavy industries.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, treasury, budgeting, cash management, and financial controls.
  • Experience managing lender relationships and working within project-financed environments.
  • Advanced analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel/financial modelling.
