Bell Desk Supervisor

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Bell Desk Supervisor to join their team in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to oversee bell desk operations and ensure exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide information on property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
• Assist guests and visitors with entry and exit from the property, including opening doors and handling luggage.
• Transport guest luggage to and from rooms or designated bell areas, and assist with loading/unloading luggage from vehicles.
• Provide directions and arrange transportation services (*, taxi, shuttle, limousine) for guests, recording advance requests as needed.
• Dispatch bell staff or valet staff and communicate parking procedures to guests.
• Follow up with guests to ensure their requests and problems are resolved to their satisfaction.
• Serve as a departmental role model, assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.

Operational Standards and Conduct

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate using clear and professional language, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Capability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, run, walk, jog).
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 75 pounds with assistance.
• Skill in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong commitment to guest service and the ability to perform physical tasks as outlined. Additional duties may be assigned by Supervisors as needed.
