About the Role

Salla is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance team in Makkah. This full-time position supports the company's financial operations and reporting processes within one of the MENA region's fastest-growing e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Perform accounting activities related to fixed assets, including recording, tracking, and maintaining accurate asset records.
Manage and process prepaid expenses accounting, ensuring proper allocation and reconciliation.
Process daily operational transactions and ensure accurate accounting entries.
Support month-end closing activities by preparing required schedules, entries, and supporting documents.

Additional Duties

Perform account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0–1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Practical knowledge of account reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction processing.
Experience or academic exposure to fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and month-end closing activities.

Required Skills

Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
