About the Accountant Role

Khayira Holding Company is seeking an Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in accounting. The role involves supporting the finance department with various accounting tasks and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing payment requests and expenses, and developing daily, weekly, and monthly payment plans.
• Preparing summary payment reports for pre-approvals to facilitate bank payment processes.
• Generating weekly and monthly payment reports.
• Preparing cash reports from bank accounts for both payments and collections.
• Receiving and verifying customer balance lists for the printing sales department and preparing the necessary reports.
• Creating reports on the current status of customer accounts as required.
• Receiving cash and point-of-sale receipts from the cashier and reconciling them with accounting system entries.
• Verifying purchase invoices and recording them in the accounting system.
• Verifying advance payments and following up with relevant departments.
• Printing payment transactions and archiving them in designated files.
• Reconciling bank balances with the financial system for payments and collections on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Reconciling all financial transactions on the general ledger and updating/amending it under the supervision of the Chief Accountant.
• Extracting WPS files and sending them to the HR department.
• Reconciling all subsidiary company accounts.
• Recording accrual balances related to employees (salaries, vacations, GOSI, government fees, medical insurance, etc.), as well as rents, profit loans, and bank charges.
• Recording new assets, calculating depreciation, and entering them into the financial system.
• Reconciling customer accounts and outstanding amounts, and following up with the sales team weekly.
• Preparing the cash flow report and reviewing it with the Chief Accountant.
• Preparing all banking loan requirements and submitting them to the Chief Accountant.
• Reviewing and reconciling all petty cash.
• Providing external auditor requirements, such as supplier and customer accounts and bank accounts.
• Conducting monthly inventories according to established procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• One to two years of accounting experience is required.
