Work Gateway is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to driving growth within the construction and contracting sector, supporting the company's strategic expansion across the Saudi Arabian construction market.

Role Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the identification, pursuit, and securing of new business opportunities within the construction and contracting industry. The Business Development Manager will contribute directly to the company's revenue growth and enhance its market positioning by building strategic client relationships and identifying new avenues for expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities specifically within the construction and contracting sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead pre-qualification, tendering, and proposal processes, coordinating closely with technical and proposal teams.
• Develop and execute business development strategies that align with the company's growth targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and broader industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
• Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with prospective clients.
• Represent the company effectively at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development within the construction sector.
• Proven track record of securing major contracts within the Saudi Arabian construction market.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives and the dynamics of the Saudi construction sector.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on expanding the company's presence and market share in the regional construction industry.
