About the IT Manager Role

Kerten Hospitality is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure for its operations in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in IT management, preferably within the hospitality sector. The IT Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of all hotel IT systems.

Role Overview and Context

Kerten Hospitality operates as an end-to-end lifestyle hospitality provider, focusing on creating unique destinations and experiences. The company emphasizes sustainability, community growth, and impactful partnerships. The IT Manager will support Kerten Hospitality's mission by maintaining and enhancing the technological foundation that supports guest services and operational efficiency at properties like The House Hotel Jeddah King Road.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the hotel's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, computers, and software systems.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of hotel systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and other business applications.
  • Lead IT support activities and ensure the timely resolution of technical issues for staff.
  • Monitor and maintain cybersecurity measures, data protection, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
  • Plan and implement system upgrades, technology projects, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Manage IT vendors, service providers, and technology-related contracts.
  • Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory and oversee hardware and software procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
  • Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of IT experience.
  • Preference for experience within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of networks, servers, operating systems, cybersecurity, and IT support principles.
  • Experience with hotel systems such as PMS and POS is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects, vendors, and budgets.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic.
