About the Logistics Specialist Role

Hilti Saudi Arabia is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support the Distribution Manager in managing Regional Distribution Centre operations. This full-time position, located in Jeddah and Makkah, requires 2-5 years of experience and involves participation in cross-functional projects to enhance organizational productivity.

Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact with service providers to ensure timely imports and exports. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of warehousing operations, including inbound processes, inventory management, outbound logistics, and reverse logistics. You will also manage administrative tasks to meet customer business requirements. This role involves working cross-functionally, utilizing lean management principles, adapting global standards, and resolving root cause issues to achieve cost efficiencies and service improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Performance

You will collaborate closely with other Hilti departments such as Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing to enhance customer service. This includes understanding, interpreting, and communicating global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance management reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for cost management and conducting audits and checks to ensure risk mitigation controls are effectively implemented across all operational areas.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with SAP is preferred.
