About the Registered Nurse Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality nursing care within a clinical setting. The role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience, with a residency program available for those with less than one year of experience.

Core Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care. This includes conducting thorough patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals, and administering prescribed medications and treatments. The role also involves wound care, assisting during medical procedures, and educating patients and their families on health conditions and preventive measures. Maintaining accurate medical records, responding to emergencies, and adhering to infection control standards are also key duties. The nurse will participate in purposeful rounding to ensure patient needs are met and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by implementing evidence-based practices.

Administrative and Supportive Functions

In addition to clinical duties, the Registered Nurse will maintain precise patient care records, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Supportive duties include providing emotional support to patients and their families, advocating for patient needs and preferences, and respecting diverse cultural backgrounds. The role may involve overseeing junior staff and nursing students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the resolution of patient care challenges. Continuous professional development through ongoing education and training is expected.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is required; however, individuals with less experience will be considered for the RN residency program. Proficiency in the English language is essential, with Arabic being a beneficial addition. Required licenses and certifications include a license from the country of origin, a license for practice from the relevant regional health regulatory authority (*, SCFHS/DHA), BLS, ACLS, and other applicable LSTC courses.

Required Skills and Abilities

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and service-oriented skills, with the ability to manage work pressure and function effectively within a team. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with typing abilities, are necessary. Clerical skills such as preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and scanning documents are also expected.
