About the Role

Assystem Radicon is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position is integral to supporting the company's financial operations and contributing to its mission of accelerating the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate coding and recording of all financial transactions, including journal entries, receipts, and disbursements.
• Manage vendor invoicing, verify payment approvals, process accounts payable, and monitor aging accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, intercompany balance reconciliations, and subsidiary ledger reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and monthly VAT returns in compliance with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations, ensuring adherence to all e-invoicing standards.
• Support the finance team in executing month-end and year-end closing procedures, including the preparation of accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare preliminary balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports for management review.
• Provide necessary documentation, schedules, and analytical support to external and internal auditors during financial audits.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience working as an Accountant.
• Experience within professional services, engineering consulting, or corporate environments in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Registration with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) is highly preferred or required.
• Progress toward CPA, CMA, or ACCA certifications is a strong advantage.
