Solution Leaders Fayez Engineering (SLFE) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join its team. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and plays a critical role in safeguarding the company's digital assets and infrastructure.

The Role of a Cyber Security Specialist

The Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for protecting organizational systems and data by actively monitoring security alerts, responding to incidents, and managing various security platforms. This role also involves supporting compliance initiatives and contributing to risk mitigation efforts to maintain a robust security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts across diverse platforms to identify potential threats.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and maintain security platforms and tools, ensuring their optimal performance and configuration.
• Support compliance initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
• Apply strong knowledge of cybersecurity operations, incident response, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and security controls aligned with industry standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of direct cybersecurity experience.
• Preferred certifications include CEH, CompTIA Security+, SC-200, SC-300, ISO 27001, CISM, and CISSP.

Technical Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.
• Experience with SIEM tools, security monitoring platforms, vulnerability scanning tools, and log analysis utilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity operations and best practices.
• Proven ability in incident response and threat analysis.
• Competence in vulnerability management and remediation.
• Experience with the implementation of security controls aligned with industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving cybersecurity trends.
