About PepsiCo and the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to join its full-time operations in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supervising the overall functions of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and maintaining equipment to provide essential services. The Team Lead will act as a central coordination point between various departments, including Production, Planning, Export, EHS, Quality and Food Safety, RMPM, and Freight, as well as other Distribution Centers (DCs).

Core Warehouse Operations

  • Coordinate efficient staging and management of the finished goods warehouse.
  • Manage stock levels and allocations to ensure optimum storage capacity.
  • Ensure daily transactions and reconciliations are completed, reviewing all movements in SAP and performing weekly COSO Tests.
  • Maintain stock allocation and accuracy in SAP and related documentation.
  • Follow up on all systore activities, ensuring daily transactions and reconciliations are completed, and reviewing all movements in SAP for weekly COSO Tests.
  • Maintain outside picking area stock through daily reconciliation.
  • Track daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Prepare weekly plans and assign responsibilities/resources to meet production and sales requirements.

Inventory and Quality Management

  • Ensure all slow/non-moving inventories are accurately reported and issued according to FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) guidelines or an agreed liquidation plan, in alignment with the planning department.
  • Track all Quality HOLD stock and follow up with the Quality and Production teams for liquidation.
  • Maintain all Food Safety standards by reviewing documents and aligning with the team in daily meetings.
  • Comply with AIB (American Institute of Baking) standards to sustain superior ratings through daily warehouse cleaning and documentation review.
  • Follow up for the Mock Recall timeline tracking with DCs to ensure effectiveness.
  • Execute employee samples within the specified timeframe.
  • Finalize and clear all Z-movement on a daily basis.

Operational Coordination and Compliance

  • Oversee daily shift activities, ensuring inbound and outbound flows adhere to established procedures and company policies.
  • Communicate new SKUs and related actions, and conduct pre-shift meetings for task allocation and updates.
  • Ensure equipment usage complies with PepsiCo guidelines, coordinating periodic inspections and addressing breakdowns with the Engineering team.
  • Execute management-assigned tasks and participate in warehouse development projects focused on safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company procedures and policies, including managing write-offs for disposal.
  • Monitor and follow up on pending orders for shipments across regions and channels, coordinating with freight and planning.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Team for equipment services and annual PM maintenance of the systore.
  • Verify that all GCC/EMED shipments meet required regulatory standards and ensure timely availability of shuttling trucks for daily DC sales requirements.
  • Ensure Forklift Truck (FLT) operators comply with PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) procedures and coordinate with Fleet for FLT maintenance.
  • Upload incident reports to MYEHS, including effective action plans for incidents and near misses.
  • Acknowledge and review daily documents processed by the storekeeper.
  • Manage HR-related administrative tasks, including reviewing and submitting monthly timesheets for contract laborers and updating FTE scheduling in Kronos, clearing exceptions.
  • Implement and maintain Standard Work Procedures (SWP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all workflows.
  • Oversee safety and forklift training schedules for the crew to ensure compliance with the training matrix and enhance safety awareness.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a supply chain role, with cross-functional experience preferably within the FMCG business.
  • Additional experience in a food manufacturing-based organization is an advantage, allowing for the application of solutions across the entire supply chain.
  • A degree in Commerce, Finance, or Technical studies.
  • A qualification in supply chain or warehousing management.
