Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry? We are seeking a talented Cost Accountant to join our team in Dammam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costs.
- Research material costs to ensure accuracy in the company’s accounting system.
- Evaluate the Bill of Material (BOM) for each product.
- Prepare comprehensive budgeting reports for the company and its departments.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Examine costs to determine the most efficient methods.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and recommend cost efficiencies.
- Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze and report profit margins internally.
- Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
