About the Accessories Manager Role

Al-Futtaim is seeking an experienced Accessories Manager to establish and scale the Accessories and Service Products business for BYD and Denza brands across Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires a strategic leader to own the end-to-end P&L for the accessories category. The role is crucial for building the operating model from the ground up, developing a competitive product portfolio, and creating service programs that drive revenue and customer retention within the automotive aftersales sector.

Role Responsibilities and Strategic Planning

The Accessories Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year strategy for BYD and Denza accessories and service products in Saudi Arabia, aligning with brand positioning and aftersales objectives. This includes establishing the accessories operating model, defining governance, processes, pricing, channel strategy, and performance management. The role also involves building the Annual Operating Plan, forecasting sales volumes, revenue, gross margin, and inventory, and defining a long-term growth roadmap for portfolio expansion and digital sales channels.

Product Portfolio and Vendor Ecosystem Development

Key duties include developing a competitive portfolio of genuine OEM accessories, locally sourced options, and bundled packages tailored to Saudi customer preferences. The manager will design and launch service product programs such as extended warranties and EV-specific care packages, and lead accessory programs for new vehicle launches and special editions. This involves curating selections to match regional tastes and managing the full product lifecycle. Additionally, the role requires identifying, evaluating, and onboarding local and regional accessory suppliers and service partners, building and managing relationships with global manufacturers, and leading commercial negotiations to establish a resilient and cost-competitive vendor network.

Commercial Ownership and Market Insight

The Accessories Manager will be accountable for delivering sales, revenue, attachment rate, and gross margin targets for the accessories category. This involves defining pricing strategies and dealer margins to ensure profitability while remaining competitive. Performance will be monitored through monthly P&L reviews, variance analysis, and corrective action planning. The role also requires conducting ongoing market analysis, customer research, and competitor benchmarking across KSA and GCC markets, translating insights into product development priorities and commercial campaigns, and tracking global trends in OEM accessories and EV innovations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Operational Execution

Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Supply Chain, and Network Development teams is essential to integrate accessories and service products into the customer journey. The manager will engage with BYD and Denza principal teams to align local plans with global brand standards. This role also oversees inventory planning, stock health, and warehouse coordination for accessories, and establishes the necessary digital and reporting infrastructure for sales tracking and dealer enablement.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Automotive Management, or a related field, with an MBA being an advantage. The role requires 9–15 years of progressive experience in Automotive Accessories, Service Product Development, or Aftersales Commercial Management within an OEM, national distributor, or large dealership group. Demonstrated success in owning and delivering an Accessories P&L, building accessory portfolios from concept to launch, and managing local and international suppliers are critical. Strong understanding of Saudi and Gulf customer preferences in vehicle personalization and experience in GCC and KSA markets are highly preferred. Exposure to Chinese OEM brands or new energy vehicle aftersales is a significant advantage.
