About the Accountant Role

A Confidential Government entity in Riyadh is seeking a full-time Accountant to support its daily accounting operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, timely transaction processing, and adherence to company policies and accounting standards. The position requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing journal entries and contributing to monthly closing procedures.
• Reconciling accounts, bank statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Monitoring accounts payable and receivable, including following up on outstanding items.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and performing necessary analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with established internal controls and accounting procedures.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
