About the Role

Qiddiya, a flagship Giga project under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, is developing a world-class entertainment, cultural, and lifestyle destination. This multibillion-dollar endeavor requires comprehensive management of supplier relationships and supply chain risks. The Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Risk will support the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) & Supply Chain Risk (SCR) team in identifying and mitigating these critical risks across all procurement categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential supply chain risks, assessing their likelihood and impact using established frameworks (*, operational, financial, ESG, compliance, geopolitical, cybersecurity, capacity, and concentration risks).
  • Develop and maintain supplier risk profiles, including risk scoring, dependency analysis, and identification of critical suppliers.
  • Support the implementation of mitigation strategies and contingency plans to manage identified risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor external factors such as regulatory changes, natural disasters, or market trends that could impact the supply chain.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level risk views and dashboards in alignment with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and governance requirements.
  • Collate information from business teams regarding their supply chain needs and supplier risk performance to consolidate overall organizational dependencies.
  • Support awareness sessions for business teams on reporting supplier/supply chain risks and ensuring business continuity during disruptions.
  • Oversee and mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and a collaborative, high-performance culture within the SRM & SCR Team.
  • Support the development and maintenance of supply chain risk policies, methodologies, and playbooks.
  • Prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and management updates on key supply chain risk trends and mitigation status.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, data quality, and processes related to SRM and supply chain risk.
  • Support audits, reviews, and compliance requirements related to supplier risk and governance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Between 5 and 10 years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management and Supply Chain roles, preferably within large-scale projects such as construction, real estate, or urban development.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Law, Finance, Business, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Experience with KSA regulatory requirements and familiarity with Vision 2030 goals are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively identify and address risks.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively across teams to align differing goals and needs with overarching organizational strategy.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the local cultural and business landscape in Saudi Arabia through work experience in the region is preferred.
