About the Role

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented Associate - Dry Utilities to join its Infrastructure Team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing technical support and contributing to the successful delivery of complex dry utilities infrastructure projects. The role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in utilities design within a goal-oriented team focused on innovative infrastructure solutions.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Associate - Dry Utilities will provide technical and project management assistance to the project team for multi-disciplinary dry utilities projects. Key responsibilities include participating in tendering activities, preparing and reviewing technical specifications and documentation, and conducting technical and quality reviews of project deliverables. The role also involves supporting project audits, developing and analyzing ETAP models for electrical network design, performing Dialux street lighting calculations, and assisting with master plan MV and LV network design.

• Contribute comprehensive technical insights for commercial administration and resource allocation.
• Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with local and international regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on technical matters and best practices.
• Ensure all designs comply with Saudi Arabia electrical codes, local regulations, and international design standards.
• Contribute to BIM model coordination and clash detection.
• Embrace new technologies and innovative approaches in dry utilities infrastructure design.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail and organization.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with a postgraduate qualification being preferred. A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in dry utilities infrastructure design and project delivery is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in ETAP modeling for electrical network analysis and design.
• Proficiency in Dialux software for street lighting calculations and design.
• Strong experience with master plan MV and LV network design.
• Solid knowledge of street lighting design principles and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM modeling software.
• Experience with technical report preparation and documentation.
• Proven ability to conduct technical and quality reviews of infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with project audit processes and quality assurance procedures.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabia electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Required Skills and Competencies

Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
