About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking an Associate, Internal Audit to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on assessing and performing audits of internal controls and systems to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards and established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying key risk areas during the planning phase of internal audit assignments.
• Support audit teams in engagement planning and coordinate communication with process owners.
• Document business processes, internal controls, and related applications.
• Test the effectiveness of internal controls under supervision.
• Participate in internal audit assignments using a risk-based approach and implement audit programs.
• Contribute to ad hoc audit reviews and assist in reviewing new or updated systems.
• Conduct basic analysis of performance data to identify inefficiencies and review performance metrics for improvement opportunities.
• Assist in ongoing auditing activities using business intelligence tools and track progress on agreed action plans.
• Contribute to drafting audit findings and reports, ensuring documentation is complete and well-organized.

• Maintain updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets within delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively for efficient cost and time.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and identify automation opportunities.
• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.
