About the Business Development Manager Role

XCMG Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on driving market expansion and growth for our Aerial Work Platform (AWP) product line. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute strategies that expand XCMG Group's market presence for AWP products. Key responsibilities include:

• Driving market development and acquiring new clients for the AWP product line within assigned regions.
• Formulating and implementing annual sales plans to meet company performance targets.
• Maintaining and enhancing relationships with key accounts to facilitate project finalization and order conversion.
• Collaborating with technical support and delivery teams to ensure effective project execution.
• Managing the complete sales cycle, including bidding, quotation preparation, and contract negotiations.
• Providing regular updates to headquarters and regional management on market trends and competitive intelligence.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of sales experience.
• At least 3 years of sales experience specifically within the Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) industry.
• A strong understanding of the European market customer landscape, including construction firms, rental companies, and municipal entities.
• Professional proficiency in English as a working language.
• Demonstrated ability to independently develop new markets.
• Resilience and adaptability to frequent travel.
• A background in construction machinery, equipment rental, or industrial services is considered a strong advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires adaptability and a willingness to undertake frequent travel to support market development activities.
