About the Civil Engineer Role at Alqotr

Alqotr is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional to oversee and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved plans, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role involves close coordination with various stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery while upholding high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the execution of structural, concrete, architectural, and finishing works on-site.
• Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings, ensuring compliance throughout project execution.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts, technical issues, and construction challenges.
• Ensure all works comply with approved specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Inspect and approve subcontractors’ work, verifying adherence to project standards.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Lead, supervise, and support site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams.
• Prepare site reports and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the project site.
• Make timely and effective decisions to address unforeseen site issues and maintain project continuity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction and site execution projects.
• Proven experience in supervising structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality control procedures, and site inspection processes.
