About the Construction Engineer Role

A Confidential Government entity in Riyadh is seeking a Construction Engineer to oversee and support construction activities. This full-time position requires a professional to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to approved design and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve site issues.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare comprehensive progress reports.
• Track project timelines, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure quality control measures are implemented and project requirements are met.
• Support project managers with documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in construction supervision or project execution.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and site management tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires active site presence and collaboration with a project team.
