About the Role

Pacific International Lines (PIL), a global shipping leader with over 55 years of experience, is seeking a motivated Container Logistics Senior Executive to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing container logistics costs, KPI reporting, and intermodal business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and report on regional and agency-level KPIs, costs, and performance.
• Oversee intermodal network management and business development, including network review, creation, and optimization to enhance performance.
• Monitor intermodal performance, develop market intelligence, identify opportunities, and promote services to POL/POD.
• Collaborate with agencies and HQ intermodal teams to propose intermodal selling rates, establish and maintain rates, product catalogues, and LMS.
• Procure landside services in compliance with HQ-agreed models and established policies.
• Manage the regional contract landscape, including monitoring expiry dates, proposing category strategies, and risk management.
• Set and monitor formal performance KPIs, flow-share, SLAs, and conduct supplier assessments.
• Manage supplier onboarding processes, including agreement setup, EDI, and LMS tariff implementation.
• Drive digitalization initiatives, such as container reuse/triangulation and platform adoption.
• Provide leadership and direction to agency logistics teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Commercial Trades, HQ, RO, and Agencies to make business decisions in the company's best interest.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma/Degree, preferably in Management or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 2 years of multi-disciplinary experience in areas such as equipment management, intermodal operations, procurement, inventory, or operations management is required. The role demands a detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership, a results-driven mindset capable of handling high operational pressure and multitasking, and excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with shipping networks, market trends, capacity control, cargo flow, terminal operations, and land operations.
