About the Credit Control Consultant Role

Al Futtaim Group is seeking a Credit Control Consultant to join its Finance team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to managing credit operations and ensuring financial health across the business. The role requires a proactive individual with 2-5 years of experience in credit control and a strong understanding of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Credit Control Consultant will be responsible for a range of duties focused on effective credit management and timely collections. This includes:

  • Reviewing and verifying documentation for credit assessments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparing credit assessment reports for approval according to defined processes.
  • Ensuring credit approvals are processed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and delegation of authority limits.
  • Updating approved credit terms in SAP Customer Credit Master and maintaining the credit approval tracker.
  • Monitoring customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and irregularities, and coordinating with Business Finance and Sales teams for resolution.
  • Collaborating with FSSC O2C and Business Finance to ensure timely accounting of customer payments and resolution of unallocated credits.
  • Developing accounts receivable reports and analyses to highlight collection issues and delinquent accounts for management.
  • Supporting periodic credit reviews by coordinating with the Head of Corporate Credit and Business Heads to maintain appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
  • Conducting client field visits as necessary to support collections and relationship management efforts.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in preparing credit assessments, AR reports, and credit approval trackers.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong set of skills essential for effective credit control:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across finance, sales, and shared service teams.
  • Capability to support timely reporting, follow-ups, and resolution of overdue or irregular customer accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role is part of the Finance department within Al Futtaim Group.
