About the Role

A leading fuel retail and service station operator is seeking an experienced Director of Transportation to lead and develop its transportation sector. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Core Responsibilities

The Director of Transportation will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational execution of the company's transportation activities, with a significant focus on fuel transportation and business expansion. Key duties include:

• Leading and managing fuel transportation operations to ensure continuous supply to company stations.
• Overseeing the company's fleet of fuel tankers and ensuring their operational readiness.
• Managing drivers, operational accounts, performance metrics, and compliance.
• Developing operational procedures, safety standards, and programs to enhance fleet efficiency.
• Maintaining strong operational relationships with Saudi Aramco and ensuring adherence to all relevant requirements.
• Improving operational performance, optimizing costs, and enhancing profitability within the transportation sector.
• Expanding transportation activities and developing new revenue streams in logistics and land transportation services.
• Establishing strategic partnerships and identifying new transportation business opportunities.
• Preparing operational, financial, and expansion plans for the transportation sector.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role must possess a strong background in transportation management and business development. Specific requirements include:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in managing fuel transportation fleets.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Aramco fuel transportation requirements and procedures.
• Proven experience in transportation business development and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with fleet management systems, GPS tracking, and driver supervision.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Previous experience within the fuel, energy, or large logistics industries is preferred.
