About the Role

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Director of Operational Readiness to lead the strategic planning and execution of operational launch strategies for its diverse projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring all operational aspects are fully prepared for project openings and sustained success.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Director of Operational Readiness will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing that all facilities are ready for opening and that operational teams are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional experiences. This position involves close collaboration with project management, development, and operational teams to facilitate a seamless transition from construction to full operation across various large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational readiness plans aligned with project timelines and organizational objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination to address operational needs across departments, ensuring all systems, processes, and staff are prepared for launch.
  • Oversee the assessment of operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project openings.
  • Manage training programs designed to equip operational teams with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor readiness progress using established metrics and KPIs, keeping stakeholders informed and projects on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction post-launch.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operational readiness, project management, or operations leadership within entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in leading operational launch initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing and delivering comprehensive training programs.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market and cultural norms is an advantage.
