The Role of Director, Project Controls

Qiddiya is seeking an experienced and strategic Director - Project Controls to lead the project controls function within its transport infrastructure projects. This full-time leadership role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves overseeing all project controls activities to ensure effective management of cost, schedule, risk, and quality for transport-related developments. The Director will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget, supporting Qiddiya's overall vision.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of project control strategies specific to transport infrastructure projects.
Manage cost control, scheduling, risk assessment, and performance monitoring to ensure timely project delivery.
Direct and mentor the project controls team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and controls processes.
Generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project impact.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Drive utilization of project management software tools, including Primavera P6.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and strategic professional with over 10 years of experience in project controls, specifically within the context of transport infrastructure projects. A proven track record in leading project controls functions and managing complex developments is essential for this role.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and various stakeholders across the organization to achieve project objectives and ensure successful project delivery.
