About the Role
W Hotels is seeking an F&B Service Expert (IRD Order Taker) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on delivering memorable guest experiences through attentive service, with food and beverages as a key component. The role requires individuals who can take initiative and provide a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their dining experience.
Core Responsibilities
The F&B Service Expert is responsible for various aspects of guest service within the food and beverage department. This includes, but is not limited to, setting tables, communicating effectively with the kitchen staff, interacting with and serving guests, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies. The aim is to ensure that every transaction contributes positively to the overall guest experience.
Key Duties and Tasks
- Taking orders accurately from guests.
- Communicating guest orders and special requests to the kitchen.
- Serving food and beverages to guests.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of service areas.
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This role requires the ability to be on your feet and moving for extended periods. This includes standing, sitting, or walking, and navigating potentially sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. The job involves reading and visually verifying menu information. Physical tasks may include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also part of the physical demands.
Qualifications and Experience
This position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. Success in this role is contingent upon creating a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and maintaining professional personal appearance and communication.
