About the Role

Buro Happold is seeking a Graduate Fire Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of professional experience. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of infrastructure projects, water supply systems, and drainage networks.
• Support the development of fire safety strategies and engineering solutions across a range of projects.
• Assist in applying local and international fire codes, standards, and performance-based design approaches.
• Perform fire engineering calculations, including smoke modeling and evacuation analysis, utilizing both hand calculations and advanced simulation tools.
• Contribute to the selection and integration of fire protection systems, such as detection and suppression systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure coordinated and effective design solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions and presentations with clients and stakeholders.
• Support coordination with local authorities and regulatory bodies in Saudi Arabia.
• Attend site visits to review the implementation of fire engineering strategies.
