About the Opportunity

AlRuwais is seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position for a professional with 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience in internal audit functions.

Role Purpose

The Internal Audit Specialist plays a crucial role in upholding the company's operational integrity and compliance standards. This position involves systematically reviewing processes and controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established policies, thereby supporting the overall governance framework of AlRuwais.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit activities in strict accordance with the approved audit plan.
• Review financial transactions, records, and operational processes to verify accuracy and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal controls and confirm adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive internal audit reports, meticulously documenting findings and tracking the implementation of recommended actions.
• Identify and assess potential risks across various operations, actively supporting initiatives aimed at risk mitigation.
• Recommend specific process improvements designed to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen the internal control environment.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this role must possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in internal audit. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
