The Role: Lead Specialist Cybersecurity Architect II

Maaden is seeking a Lead Specialist Cybersecurity Architect II to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the Cyber Security division, with primary responsibility for defining and managing the enterprise cybersecurity architecture across Maaden Corporate and its various Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, assess, and execute the Enterprise Cybersecurity Architecture to effectively support Maaden's cybersecurity posture and digitization plans.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) technology guidance, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices to deliver and maintain the Cyber Security Architecture strategic roadmap.
• Build the enterprise security architecture and participate in design reviews of Maaden's mega projects and expansion plans.
• Ensure appropriate technical standards and security controls are defined for the group IT infrastructure and applications, as well as cross-group assets.
• Perform evaluation and selection of new security solutions.
• Support the implementation of new digital and technology solutions.
• Report key Security Architecture issues for escalation and decision.
• Manage Cybersecurity risk assessments and impact analysis activities in line with Maaden's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and guidelines.
• Manage and maintain Maaden's Cybersecurity Architecture framework, policies, and standards.
• Act as an architecture board member in relevant Maaden technology boards.
• Serve as a key SME for the Cyber Security Architecture 'Competence Centers', providing best practice authority on methodologies and procedures.
• Mentor and coach team members both technically and managerially.

Scope of Operations

The Cybersecurity Architect will oversee and manage enterprise cybersecurity architecture across Maaden's corporate functions and business units located in Saudi Arabia, India, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, and Mauritius. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of diverse operational environments and global security challenges.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information System, Computer Engineering, or any other related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant cybersecurity architecture role.
• An advanced degree is desirable.
