About the Lighting Business Development Consultant Role

Ideolux is seeking a Business Development Consultant to join its team in Riyadh. Ideolux specializes in the design, engineering, and production of high-quality LED lighting solutions that meet international quality and safety standards. This full-time position requires a candidate with 5-10 years of experience and offers a salary range of 15,000 to 25,000 SAR. The role focuses on expanding Ideolux's market presence and client base within Riyadh and the broader Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Consultant will be responsible for:

• Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities with architects, consultants, contractors, developers, and government entities.
• Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key industry decision-makers and influencers.
• Promoting Ideolux's product range and lighting design solutions for commercial, infrastructure, and hospitality projects.
• Conducting presentations, project briefings, and technical discussions with clients.
• Monitoring project pipelines, tender opportunities, and prequalification processes.
• Collaborating with internal lighting design and technical support teams to develop proposals and quotations.
• Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects in Riyadh and surrounding regions.
• Representing Ideolux at local trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Preparing monthly reports detailing leads, progress, and business forecasts.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in business development or sales within the lighting, construction, or architectural industry in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of the local market, particularly in Riyadh and Central KSA.
• Existing networks with design consultants, MEP contractors, or government entities are considered a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is beneficial.
• Self-motivation, a target-driven approach, and the ability to work independently or with remote teams.
• A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

Working Schedule and Location

The position is based in Riyadh and operates on a full-time basis. The working schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Friday is a day off. The total working hours amount to 48 hours per week.
