Role Overview: Manager, BCG Vantage Center for Public Economics

BCG is seeking a Manager, BCG Vantage Center for Public Economics to join its Public Sector Practice Area in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, client-facing role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves joining a specialized international team of economists, data scientists, and subject matter experts. The focus is on macroeconomic analysis and economic development topics globally, with the Manager deployed as a technical specialist across a wide range of BCG's projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist public sector clients in understanding the economic implications of topics such as fiscal policy, trade policy, infrastructure programs, AI and technology, climate and environment, and industrial strategy.
• Deliver value to clients through individual expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets, including economic models, products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, and domain-specific expertise.
• Contribute to proposals and cases by providing thought partnership within your area of expertise.
• Produce original analyses and insights to drive impact with clients.
• Support commercialization efforts for specific topics or sectors in conjunction with business leaders, offering insights and advice for proposals and client workshops.
• Lead the development of intellectual property and assets for the business.
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues based on your topic and sector expertise.
• Undertake occasional travel for onsite client assignments to understand requirements and design solutions.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Ability to deliver high-quality macroeconomic analysis using established technical approaches, including input-output modeling, computable general equilibrium modeling, and econometric techniques.
• Proficiency in distilling insights from technical analyses to produce concise written outputs for diverse audiences efficiently.
• Skill in engaging senior stakeholders and client team members, providing targeted communication based on stakeholder settings.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities, including prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment, business acumen, and adaptability.
• Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members.
• Comfortable working in complex, ever-changing environments, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and fast-paced settings.

Collaboration and Work Environment

As a Manager – BCG Vantage on the Client Focus path, you will collaborate directly with clients, BCG Project Leaders, Associates, and Consultants. During periods between cases, you will engage with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to leverage expertise and capabilities for both internal and external clients.
