About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Manager, Construction to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to the development of Qiddiya's entertainment complex, requiring leadership in overseeing construction projects from initial planning through to successful execution. The Manager, Construction will ensure that all projects meet established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Role Overview

The Manager, Construction will lead and manage various construction initiatives, coordinating efforts across departments, with contractors, and other key stakeholders. This position is responsible for driving the construction phase of significant projects, contributing to a major regional development. The role demands a focus on project delivery, adherence to specifications, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design specifications are executed accurately.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with legal requirements and regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all construction operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects within budget and on schedule.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and mentor diverse teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with project management software and relevant construction technology.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
