About the Role

Al-Ayuni Investment and Contracting Company is seeking a Marketing & Sales Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves developing and executing strategies to enhance the market presence and sales performance of the company's construction equipment and related products.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to assist in the marketing and selling of the company's products to establish competitive advantages. This involves creating unique sales plans, developing pricing strategies, and meeting marketing and sales objectives. The Marketing & Sales Manager will represent the company's brand and drive initiatives to increase product awareness by monitoring market, competitor, and industry trends.

• Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understand client requirements, identify market trends, and suggest system improvements to achieve marketing goals.
• Gather, investigate, and summarize market data and trends to draft reports.
• Maintain relationships with key clients through regular visits, understanding their needs, and identifying new marketing opportunities.
• Stay current in the industry by attending conferences and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining professional networks.
• Communicate expectations by planning, monitoring, and reviewing contributions.
• Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing relevant information.
• Prepare and complete marketing and sales action plans.
• Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budgets.
• Determine annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
• Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertisements.
• Provide insights by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

People Management and Development

This role includes managing and evaluating employee performance, providing continuous feedback, and offering development opportunities to maximize employee potential and engagement. The manager will also oversee the talent pipeline through employee development, mentoring, career planning, and succession planning. Additionally, they will manage organizational changes by improving systems, processes, and practices, incorporating best practices and adapting to business environment shifts.

Policies, Processes, and Compliance

The Marketing & Sales Manager will oversee the implementation of department procedures and controls to ensure fulfillment of all relevant procedural and legislative requirements, delivering quality, cost-effective services. This includes ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and responsible environmental practices. Furthermore, the role requires ensuring the implementation of information security practices and standards to comply with relevant policies and protect company data.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Finance. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant sales and marketing experience in the construction industry is required. Technical certificates in sales and marketing are also considered beneficial.
