About the Role
Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is seeking a Sales Manager I to proactively solicit and manage sales opportunities. This full-time position focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals. The role requires a proactive approach to sales and a commitment to ensuring business is handled efficiently for optimal service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Manager I will be responsible for a range of sales-focused activities, including:
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to meet revenue targets.
- Collaborating with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and effective sales efforts.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, events, and trade shows to secure future bookings.
- Building and maintaining relationships within the local community to expand the customer base.
- Managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring accurate and timely turnover of business to Event Management for seamless service delivery.
- Participating in sales calls to acquire new business and finalize deals.
- Executing the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals and writing contracts.
- Understanding market trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and economic factors to maximize revenue and close opportunities effectively.
- Gaining insight into the target customer's needs and expectations to offer suitable business solutions.
- Supporting the company's service strategy to drive customer loyalty and deliver excellent service throughout the customer experience.
- Servicing customers to increase account share and consistently meeting the company's customer service standards.
- Setting a positive example for guest relations and interacting with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service.
Qualifications and Experience
This role requires a foundational level of experience in sales, with a requirement of 0-1 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
Market Understanding and Customer Focus
A key aspect of this role involves leveraging knowledge of market dynamics and target customer information. This includes understanding the competitive landscape, economic trends, and supply and demand to strategically position offerings and close profitable deals. The Sales Manager I must also develop a deep understanding of the location’s primary target customer and their service expectations, offering tailored business solutions to meet their needs.
Customer Service Excellence
Exceptional customer service is paramount. The role demands adherence to the company's service and relationship strategy, focusing on delivering outstanding service to foster customer loyalty. This includes consistently meeting daily service basics, actively seeking guest feedback, and setting a positive example in all guest interactions to grow account share.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves active participation in a sales team environment, requiring collaboration and effective communication to achieve collective and individual sales targets.
