NodeJS Backend Engineer

About the Role

Colada, a company in the Food & Beverage industry based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a NodeJS Backend Engineer. This is a full-time position where the engineer will focus on developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness.

Role Context

The NodeJS Backend Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust APIs and contribute to the overall architecture of backend systems. This role is central to delivering innovative solutions that meet business needs within the company's operational framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Typescript and ExpressJS.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to define and implement features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, utilizing MongoDB.
• Ensure high scalability of applications through the use of Docker, Docker-Compose, and AWS.
