About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Partnerships Section Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to developing, managing, and expanding strategic systems and solutions partnerships. The role focuses on enhancing Alfanar’s market offering, enabling integrated solutions, and supporting sustainable business growth by ensuring effective partner alignment, governance, and value realization in line with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential systems and solutions partners aligned with organizational strategy and portfolio direction. Develop and execute partnership strategies that support business objectives, market positioning, and solution enablement. Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for partnership agreements in coordination with legal and relevant stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with partners, key stakeholders, and solution providers. Act as the primary point of contact for partnership governance, coordination, and escalation matters. Conduct regular partner engagement reviews to ensure alignment, performance, and mutual value realization.
  • Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence: Collaborate with leadership to define partnership objectives, success criteria, and performance indicators. Analyze market trends, technology developments, and competitor ecosystems to identify partnership opportunities. Monitor partnership effectiveness and provide structured reporting on outcomes, risks, and strategic impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partnership initiatives are aligned with commercial, technical, and operational objectives. Support joint go-to-market initiatives, solution positioning, and coordinated engagements with partners. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders and partner organizations.
  • Financial & Commercial Management: Manage partnership-related budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Assess financial performance and return on investment of partnership initiatives and report findings to management.

Managerial Accountabilities

  • Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to create a robust second line of management, while guiding or releasing low performers based on performance.
  • Ensure fair treatment of subordinates without discrimination, with performance leading to planned results as the primary assessment criterion.
  • Take full responsibility for operations and deliverables as per the job description and company guidelines.
  • Anticipate problems and implement proactive steps to prevent them, making necessary and proper timely decisions.
  • Deliver required results in a timely manner, meeting quality and cost standards.
  • Make a tangible difference in the area of operation, exceeding business expectations.
  • Transform corporate goals into business plans, then plan, follow up, and execute these plans (annual or development).
  • Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and take corrective measures.
  • Provide periodic work progress reports and control budgets and expenses for optimum cost efficiency.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in partnership management, business development, or a similar strategic role.

  • Develop the organizational structure according to current requirements, considering future and development plans, and ensure job descriptions are available for all roles.
  • Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities and promoting the full use of automated systems.
  • Be conversant with and able to navigate IT solutions, especially those relevant to the job and business.
