Role Summary: Senior Claims Coordinator

National Medical Care, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a full-time Senior Claims Coordinator. This role is primarily responsible for processing patient claims and includes specific supervisory duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of claims management within the organization.

Core Claims Processing Duties

The Senior Claims Coordinator will perform essential functions related to claims handling, including:

• Ensuring the submission of high-quality claims within acceptable timeframes.
• Reviewing discrepancies in Emergency Room (ER) and Outpatient Department (OPD) claims and communicating with relevant departments.
• Verifying the correctness of attached ID copies on received claim forms.
• Receiving answered approvals from the Provider Services Department (PSD), Admission office, and Billing department.

Supervisory and Operational Support

Beyond direct claims processing, the role involves supervisory and operational improvement tasks such as:

• Conducting training sessions for new Claims Coordinators.
• Reporting unadjusted and un-entered medical services to the Claims Manager, including notification of excluded services for newly contracted companies.
• Suggesting new computer functions to improve the claims section's performance.
• Performing additional tasks and duties as assigned by superiors.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess 5 to 10 years of experience in claims coordination or a directly related field, preferably within a healthcare environment.

Reporting Relationship

The Senior Claims Coordinator reports directly to the Claims Manager.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at National Medical Care's facilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
