About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Construction Manager - Utilities Infrastructure to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves managing all on-site field construction activities for medium-sized projects, requiring a comprehensive understanding of various construction disciplines, methods, and installation techniques. The role demands thorough familiarity with contractual obligations and the technical aspects of all facilities to be erected.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Construction Manager will oversee the planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities. This includes determining budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. Ensuring the timely availability of subcontractors and major construction equipment is crucial for maximum efficiency and productivity. The role involves establishing assignments for Construction Superintendents, monitoring progress, and recommending corrective actions. Effective management of manpower, materials, and equipment is essential to maintain schedules and meet budget goals, with a focus on preventative action to ensure critical milestones are met. The position also requires ensuring sound construction practices for quality control at optimal efficiency and minimum cost.

Project Oversight and Reporting

This role includes preparing periodic reports summarizing the progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients. Ensuring the effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies, is a key responsibility. The Senior Construction Manager will serve as the primary contact with client representatives, subcontractors, and government representatives for construction-related activities, while also maintaining strong client and community relations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience. A minimum of 15 years of experience in field construction is required. Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred. A comprehensive knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices is essential.

Required Skills and Capabilities

Proven leadership and management capability is a mandatory requirement for this position. Additionally, strong written and oral communication skills are necessary to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. Willingness to relocate to construction site locations is expected.
