About the Role

OVI is seeking a Senior Manager Fraud Technology for a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading critical fraud technology initiatives and remediation efforts related to the SAMA Cyber Fraud Framework for a leading Saudi bank.

Role Focus and Objectives

The Senior Manager will primarily focus on the technology-related requirements outlined in the SAMA Cyber Fraud Framework. This encompasses overseeing fraud detection platforms, enhancing fraud monitoring capabilities, optimizing alert management, refining rules, leveraging fraud analytics, and supporting the associated operating processes within the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology-related SAMA Cyber Fraud Framework (CFF) remediation activities.
• Review the bank’s existing fraud detection platforms and monitoring capabilities.
• Assess fraud technology architecture, functionality, and operational effectiveness.
• Review and optimise fraud detection rules and scenarios.
• Improve fraud alert generation, prioritisation, investigation, and management processes.
• Support improvements to the bank’s overall fraud operating model.
• Develop fraud technology Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and management reporting.
• Support the implementation of fraud technology transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with IT, Fraud Operations, Risk, Cybersecurity, and various business stakeholders.
• Facilitate technical workshops and stakeholder working sessions.
• Manage fraud technology project teams and workstreams.
• Identify gaps against the SAMA Cyber Fraud Framework and develop appropriate remediation actions.
• Provide regular progress and status updates to the Programme Director and client leadership.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in fraud technology and regulatory remediation, specifically within the banking sector.

• Previous experience working with Saudi banks.
• Strong understanding of the SAMA Cyber Fraud Framework.
• Experience with fraud detection and fraud monitoring platforms.
• Experience optimising fraud rules, scenarios, thresholds, and alert management processes.
• Strong knowledge of fraud analytics, behavioural analytics, and case management platforms.
• Experience delivering regulatory remediation programmes.
• Experience supporting banking or fraud technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong technical stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
