About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a CARDIAC CARE NURSE 3 to provide advanced-level nursing care within an assigned unit in Dhahran. This full-time role focuses on supporting operational processes, maintaining high standards of patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced-level nursing care in the assigned unit, focusing on complex cases.
  • Support operational processes, including maintaining high standards of patient care and assisting in resolving complex clinical issues.
  • Mentor intermediate-level nurses and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient care delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices within the unit.
  • Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
  • Support the empowerment of nurses through the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.

Operational Duties

  • Manage workflow, ensure proper resource utilization, and provide mentorship to junior nurses.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Achieve and/or maintain the mandated activities for Level 3, as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, specific to the patient's age.
  • Provide patient/family education consistent with the plan of care, respecting patient privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture.
  • Precept new hires and trainees during their probation period and provide recommendations regarding their progress and training needs.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations using clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices.
  • Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort.
  • Administer Chemotherapy and Biotherapy medications upon completion of required competency.
  • Utilize standard guidelines and policy to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for Palliative Care and Cellular Therapy patients.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in cardiac care nursing. The role requires a strong commitment to high staff engagement, patient experience, and sustained quality of care and patient safety.

This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, within a collaborative healthcare environment focused on professional practice and continuous improvement.
