Join JAL International Co. Ltd. as a Safety Officer with Substation Experience!
We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer with solid experience in Electrical Substations to ensure full compliance with HSE standards during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role focuses on implementing safety policies, minimizing risks, and promoting a strong safety culture at sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at substation project sites.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco / SEC / Client HSE standards and local regulations.
Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for substation activities.
Review and approve Method Statements (MS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Risk Assessments (RA).
Monitor high-risk activities such as:

Live electrical work
Energization & switching activities
Cable pulling, termination, and testing
Working at height and lifting operations

Ensure proper implementation of Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency drills.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and corrective actions.
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure safe execution of work.
Maintain HSE documentation, safety records, and daily site reports.
Ensure availability and correct usage of PPE at all times.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Safety-related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in Substation / Electrical Projects.
Strong knowledge of Electrical safety standards and substation construction & commissioning activities.
Good understanding of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and OSHA, NFPA, IEC standards.
