Majid Al Futtaim is seeking an experienced Fmcg Store Manager to lead supermarket operations in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the efficient functioning and sustained growth of the store, aligning with the company's strategic objectives within the fast-moving consumer goods sector.

Role Overview

The Fmcg Store Manager is responsible for leading all facets of supermarket operations. This includes ensuring exceptional customer service, optimizing sales performance, driving profitability, and maintaining high operational efficiency. The role is pivotal in achieving business growth through effective stock management, strong team leadership, stringent cost control, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, all while upholding company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement MAF Retail’s supermarket strategies, policies, and operational procedures in collaboration with Head Office and Corporate Office teams.
• Analyze commercial and operational performance, identifying opportunities to increase sales, profitability, and market competitiveness.
• Maximize store sales and profitability by effectively managing operational expenses within approved budgets.
• Review stock, inventory, and sales reports regularly, taking corrective actions to address performance gaps and operational challenges.
• Collaborate with Department Heads to ensure efficient stock management, availability of products, reduced out-of-stock situations, and timely replenishment.
• Lead, motivate, and develop store teams to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve business objectives.
• Oversee maintenance, safety, and facility management activities to ensure store assets remain fully operational and compliant with company standards.
• Support talent development and performance management processes by setting objectives, monitoring performance, providing coaching, and recognizing achievements.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in supermarket or FMCG retail management. This role requires a proven ability to lead teams, manage complex operations, and drive financial performance within a retail environment. Strong analytical skills and a commitment to operational excellence are essential for success in this position.
