About the Role

Halliburton is seeking motivated individuals to join its Surface Data Logging (SDL) service line as a Logging Geologist. Key Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, learn the foundational aspects of the Surface Data Logging (SDL) service line.
• Assist in providing on-location geological and drilling data collection and reporting to customers.
• Learn the basics of drilling theory and gain an understanding of mud logging techniques and job duties.
• Gather drilled cuttings according to specified depth intervals.
• Be responsible for the transportation of collected cuttings.
• Maintain accurate records of depth intervals for transported cuttings.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Attend training sessions and participate in on-the-job development activities focused on mud-logging, data collection, reporting, and gas system operations.
• Complete necessary induction courses and training appointments to acquire essential safety, offshore, or customer-specific certifications required for rig site deployment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a strong technical aptitude, demonstrable through academic background or practical application.
• Successfully pass company-administered tests or meet defined task guideline requirements.
• This is an entry-level position for individuals with little to no prior experience in the petroleum or related industries.
• Must be willing to work in a field position.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, field-based position. The role requires willingness to work in a field environment. The primary work locations are Medina and Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, with a specific address at Jubail Highway Abu Hadria Exit, Al-Khobar, 31952, Saudi Arabia. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
