About the Role

Maiyat Aquaculture, a subsidiary of Alyaseen Agricultural Company, is seeking a Fish Technician to join its team. This contract role is based in Al Hafuf, Eastern region, and is integral to the company's expansion and development plans within aquaculture production projects.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Fish Technician will be responsible for the daily operation and monitoring of aquaculture systems, ensuring optimal conditions for fish health and growth. This position plays a key part in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of the aquaculture facilities, directly contributing to the success of production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor aquaculture systems, including Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).
• Monitor water quality and aquatic environmental parameters in accordance with production requirements.
• Perform fish feeding and track growth rates and overall fish condition.
• Assist in the implementation of prevention and treatment programs for parasitic and bacterial diseases.
• Support various production activities and contribute to maintaining system efficiency.
• Prepare routine technical and operational reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in aquaculture, fisheries, agriculture, animal production, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of practical experience in fish farming or aquaculture operations.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Good knowledge of filtration, aeration, and water monitoring systems.
• Strong technical follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using computers and reporting tools.
• Ability to work effectively in field conditions and manage work pressure.
