The Role of Data Centre Engineer

Eram Talent is seeking a Data Centre Engineer for a contract position in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah or Makkah. This role requires 5-10 years of experience, with a focus on data centre design, operation, and maintenance. The Data Centre Engineer will contribute to ensuring the efficient and reliable functioning of data centre systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain control panels, systems, and equipment within data centre environments.
• Regulate and optimize production processes related to data centre operations.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and other team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and industry regulations in all operational activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6-7 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years specifically in data centre design, operation, and maintenance.
• Experience in the HPC (High-Performance Computing) field within data centres is an advantage, including working knowledge of servers, interconnects, cabling, and cooling techniques.
• Professional Data Centre certification (*, CDCP, CDCS, CDCDP) is a plus.
• Project management certification (*, PMP or PRINCE2) is an advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This contract position is based in the Makkah region, with opportunities in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a team to ensure the smooth operation of critical data centre infrastructure.
