About the Role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Planning Designer Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring that foodservice design and equipment across all premises align with business needs and standards.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Kitchen Planning Designer Manager will play a central role in supporting the Culinary and F&B operations teams. This involves meticulous planning and specification of kitchen and foodservice equipment to meet operational requirements and maintain high standards across various projects within the group's portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan kitchen layouts and specify equipment based on F&B briefings from the Culinary Department.
• Prepare tender packages, conduct tender analysis, and recommend tender awards for kitchen equipment across all lounges and F&B projects.
• Design the overall appearance and functionality of kitchen spaces.
• Meet with suppliers and vendors for kitchen equipment, F&B equipment, and Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E).
• Collaborate with contractors to oversee installation processes and achieve project objectives.
• Ensure careful consideration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) provisions to maintain safety standards.
• Select and supervise independent contractors, verifying that their work aligns with project and business requirements.
• Perform additional ad-hoc duties relevant to the role as dictated by business needs.

Required Experience and Attributes

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in kitchen planning and design. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to thrive in a diversified, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, serving projects across the region.
