Oracle Retail Xstore Technical Consultant Role

Alshiaka is seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Xstore Technical Consultant to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves the implementation, customization, integration, and ongoing support of Oracle Retail Xstore solutions. The consultant will work collaboratively with business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors to deliver reliable retail Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and customize Oracle Retail Xstore POS systems.
• Develop technical solutions using Java and Oracle Xstore frameworks.
• Integrate Xstore with Xenviroment, Xoffice, ORCE, Order Broker, EFTLink, ERP, and other third-party systems.
• Provide support for payment gateway and POS hardware integrations.
• Configure Xoffice, Xadmin, Xcenter, replication, RTLog, and deployment environments.
• Offer production support, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation and support testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver project requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a relevant technical consulting role.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing, customizing, and supporting Oracle Retail Xstore solutions.
• Strong understanding of retail POS environments and related technologies.

Technical Skills and System Knowledge

• Proficiency in Java programming and Oracle Xstore frameworks.
• Experience with Oracle Retail components including Xenviroment, Xoffice, ORCE, Order Broker, and EFTLink.
• Familiarity with ERP system integrations.
• Ability to configure Xoffice, Xadmin, Xcenter, replication, RTLog, and deployment environments.
• Experience supporting payment gateway and POS hardware integrations.
