We are currently seeking a Sales Coworker to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, in a part-time capacity.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Sales Coworker is to maximize sales within their designated area of responsibility. This involves leveraging knowledge of the specific product range, top-selling items, key product categories (4Aces, 1 King), and understanding the local market and customer needs. The role utilizes IKEA tools and the collective experience and expertise of colleagues to support the efficient operation of the IKEA mechanical sales system, ensuring the continued success of the IKEA Concept.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage proactively with customers requiring assistance, identifying their needs through effective questioning and recommending optimal home solutions to exceed expectations.
• Utilize various IKEA sales and communication channels and adapt interaction methods for diverse customer profiles.
• Maintain the assigned area to ensure it is clean, tidy, accurately priced, and fully stocked, upholding IKEA's basic merchandising standards for a positive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for IKEA products, continuously learning about their features and benefits, and sharing this knowledge with both customers and colleagues.
• Understand store and department action plans, taking ownership of department goals and actively contributing to their achievement.
• Offer all available IKEA store services to customers, enabling them to make informed purchasing decisions and enhancing their overall shopping experience.
• Support or lead the implementation of planned commercial activities involving the department across the store.
• Contribute to sales maximization while maintaining profitability by understanding and actively promoting top-selling and prioritized products, including overstock items.

This role is integral to fulfilling the four core tasks of the IKEA store:

• Operating as a highly efficient and well-staffed sales mechanism.
• Presenting home furnishing solutions rich with inspiring ideas.
• Serving as a qualified home furnishing specialist.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic retail environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively within a team. A genuine interest in home furnishings and the IKEA concept is essential.
