Introduction to the Role

Alawaly Real Estate (شركة العوالي للتطوير العقاري) is seeking a Senior Electrical Technical Office Engineer to lead electrical engineering functions. Based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, this full-time role requires expertise in design management and technical office operations to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior Electrical Technical Office Engineer will oversee the comprehensive review and approval of electrical designs, from initial concept stages through to IFC (Issued For Construction) issuance. This role involves close collaboration with top-tier consultants to ensure all designs align flawlessly with project standards and national codes, contributing directly to project quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate comprehensive electrical drawings and calculations from early concept stages through to IFC issuance.
• Manage cross-functional coordination with architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines to proactively resolve design clashes prior to execution.
• Review and approve Material Submittals, Shop Drawings, RFIs (Requests for Information), and Method Statements for all electrical works.
• Provide expert technical support during project execution, solving site-specific technical challenges and ensuring compliance with approved drawings.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a specific focus on design management and technical office operations. Demonstrated ability to oversee design reviews and ensure compliance with project standards and national codes is required for this role.
