About the Role

Ammico is seeking a highly qualified Senior QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to join its team. This full-time, on-site position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is critical for upholding stringent quality standards across diverse geotechnical and foundation engineering projects.

Role Overview

The Senior QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of quality assurance and quality control processes within civil engineering projects. This role involves ensuring that all project activities, materials, and structures adhere to specified international and regional standards, contributing directly to project integrity and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans.
• Monitor and ensure continuous compliance with project specifications and relevant industry standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, structures, and site activities to verify quality.
• Review engineering drawings and method statements for adherence to quality requirements and best practices.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed documentation and prepare comprehensive reports for internal audits and client requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in quality assurance and quality control within civil engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in foundation engineering and geotechnical works, with a preference for experience gained in the GCC region.
• Advanced certifications in QA/QC or quality management are considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of international and regional standards and codes relevant to civil and geotechnical engineering.
• Ability to lead and mentor project teams effectively, fostering a culture of quality.
• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
